Happiness comes from creating mandalas!
It's true.
Welcome to a place of sharing mandala journeys; of insights, experiences, and unraveling the magic of the mandala process.
Making Mandalas is a healing journey that takes us through realisation, connection and discovering a sense of wholeness. It is finding the centre of our own being.
Modern day life is demanding and we can feel disorientated, both personally and collectively regardless of age/experience, education or cultural background. Our energy levels become compromised and we cannot manage 'extras' such as taking care of ourselves; giving ourselves the time and space to replenish and heal.
We can get lost or lose connection, with what really matters to us. Our deeper selves are not being heard.
Mandalas offer us a way reconnect where we find emotional and spiritual support to enable wellbeing to happen.
In our completed mandala we see beauty and wholeness. Then the deepest magic happens, as we realize this wholeness has come from our own self. We see the picture we have created and recognize within it not only who we are, but who we can be. It is like coming home and unlocking the door to a place we always knew was there, but could not find, and seeing that it is more wonderful than we ever imagined.
Most mandalas have three parts -
The emanation streaming from the center towards the periphery—and back again to center—is the connection between the inner and outer worlds.
The periphery or outer border is that which delineates our outer and inner worlds. It marks a protective boundary and the container that holds it all together.
Mandalas reflect the macrocosm and the microcosm--spirit and matter— serving as a multi-dimensional representation of both the finite and infinite.
